Lester Eugene Pitts Jr., 42, of Hughesville, MD died June 6, 2016 in Clinton, Maryland. Born on April 17, 1974 in Washington, DC he is survived by his wife, Catherine Elizabeth "Cathy" Figuracion Pitts of Hughesville, MD., and his daughter, Ara Jordan Pitts.

In addition, he is survived by his parents Nancy Day Pitts, Lester Eugene Pitts, Sr. and Phyllis Darlene Pitts, grandfather Clifford E. Lancaster, grandmother Mary D. Swann sisters Denean Bush (Emanuel) and Tondalayia DeVine (Derrick); father-in-law John Figuracion, Sr., godchildren, uncles, aunts , nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Lester graduated from Thomas Stone High School and attended Bowie State College. He was employed as a Loan Servicing Specialist with Andrews Federal Credit Union. Lester was a very competitive bowler who would have bowled every day if he could have. He was a very outgoing, social person who enjoyed music, all sports, and was a huge Washington Redskins, New York Yankees, Notre Dame Football and Georgetown Hoyas Basketball fan.

Family will welcome friends for a Life Celebration Gathering on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm followed by a Life Celebration Memorial Service at 2:00 pm at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD., 20622.
