Faye Elizabeth Braxton 49, of Mechanicsville, MD died on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, MD.

Born August 16, 1958 in Mechanicsville, MD she was the daughter of the late William Louis and Clara Edith Woodland Braxton.

Surviving are three daughters, Saronna Braxton of Waldorf, MD, Sheena Braxton and Kelly Braxton both of Mechanicsville, MD, four sisters, Edith Marie Braxton, Barbara Ann Holton, Shirley Mae Dorsey all of Mechanicsville, MD and Mary Ellen Holton of Leonardtown, MD four brothers, Milton Louis Braxton of Washington, DC, Bernard Leo Braxton of District Heights, MD, William Marvin Braxton of Waldorf, MD and Francis DeSales Braxton of Lusby, MD. Also survived by three grandchildren Ikeya Stewart, Davione Coates and Kallia Thompson. She was preceded in death by a brother James Carlyle Braxton

Friends will be received at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD on Saturday, May 24, 2008 from 10 to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer A.M.E. Cemetery.
