William Clayton Bowling Jr., 82, originally from Wicomico, MD died on May 13, 2016 in his home in Ellenton, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, William Clayton Bowling, Sr., mother Gladys Pauline Bowling, brother Elvin Bowling, sister Betty Lee Potter and by his son John Clinton Bowling.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Dorothy Ann Bowling, nee Hammett, sons William Dwain Bowling, Robert Theodore Bowling and his wife Maria, Leonard Paris Bowling and his wife Karen, James Russell Bowling and his wife Cindy, and his daughter Cynthia Bowling Kotzalas and her husband Nick, along with numerous grand- and great-grandchildren, as well as his sisters Theresa Bowen and Catherine (Snookie) Poole.
