Mary Alice Cryer Brynteson passed away on May 2, 2016. Mary Alice was born on November 21, 1936 in Leonardtown, Maryland.

Surviving her are her children as follows, her daughter Brenda Bennett, and her husband, Paul, and their children, Chelsey Faye and Paul David Bennett; her son, Jack Hardin, and his wife LaJuene, and their children, Joseph Birch (Sandra), Justina Swann (Bryan), and Jerica Beavan (Brian), and their grandchildren Joseph, Anthony, Jared and Peyton Birch, Meredith Alice and Bryan Thomas Swann; her son, Mark Brynteson, and his wife, Terrie, and their children, Michael and Nathan Polk, Katie Lee Madison, and Derek and Gabrielle Brynteson; and by her son, Michael Brynteson, and his wife, Amy, and their children, Jacob Daniel, Christian Val, and Adeline Grace Brynteson.

She is also survived by her brothers, James B. Cryer and Leo Peter Klear, Jr., her sisters-in-law, Jo Anne Klear and Mary L. Cryer, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Melvin Cryer, Sr. and Alice Blanche Cryer Klear, her brothers, Oscar Melvin Cryer, Jr. and John Michael Klear, and her great-granddaughter, Elliot Marie Beavan.

Mary Alice loved animals, especially big dogs, fishing, and the company of her family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 9:00-9:45 a.m., at Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A., 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. David Beaubien at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 22800 Washington Street, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A., Leonardtown, MD.
