Tammy Lynn Jeter, 54, of Lexington Park, MD passed away on April 10, 2016 in Southern Maryland Hospital. Born April 27, 1961 in La Plata, MD she was the daughter of the late Norma Joyce Haynes Ching and Allen Bert Ching.

Tammy was the loving wife of Harry James Jeter whom she married on August 20, 1977 in Virginia. She is also survived by children: Candy (Amos) Milburn of Orlando, FL, and Tracey (Mark) Stokel of Leonardtown, MD, siblings; Robert (Dian) Ching of Waldorf, MD, Ricky Ching of Keywest, FL, four grandchildren, who she loved dearly, Mariah and Marissa Milburn, Kevin Jeter and Mark Stokel.

Tammy was a Secretary until she became disabled. She loved reading, watching movies and cuddling with her puppies. What she loved to do the most was going camping with friends, especially Larry and Jackie. Jackie was her partner in crime.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD where a Funeral Service will be held at 3:00PM.
