Donna Margaret Everett, 80, of Leonardtown, MD passed away on March 25, 2016 at Cedar Lane Senior Living Community in Leonardtown, MD. Born July 30, 1935 in Columbus, OH she was the daughter of the late Donald and Margaret Beltz, and was the oldest of seven children. In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her husband John Everett, and sisters Barbara VanSickle, Carol, Linebaugh, and Linda Brooks.

Donna's first job was as a nurse's aide in Riverside Convalescent Hospital, from there she worked for Rohr Aircraft Manufacturing, and then to Bendix Corporation as a key punch operator.

In November 1963, she married John Davis Everett, her husband of 47 years. John and Donna lived on a ranch in California where they raised horses until 1971 when they moved to New Carrollton, Prince George's County, MD. In 1985, they had a house built in Mechanicsville, St Mary's County MD. Many of her hobbies included crocheting, canning, baking and sharing her favorite pumpkin bread with her friends and neighbors.

Donna served in many capacities as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had a strong Testimony of the Savior, and strived everyday to be like him. She loved serving others. While living at Cedar Lane she enjoyed her job of feeding the birds. She took Art classes where she learned to paint. Donna had a wonderful green thumb, and many would bring their dying plants to her so she could bring them back to life. Donna was loving, humble and kind and has touched the lives of many, many people.

Donna is survived by her children, Lori M. Davis, Shawna L. Martin, John M. Everett (Jennifer), Donna M. Horan, brothers Peter M. Beltz (Kelly) and Patrick V. Beltz (Aletha) and sister Sheila Miller. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Stephen Doyle, Keith Waggener, Clayton Kissel (Elizabeth) Lonni Martin, Alec Horan, Michael Horan, John Thomas Horan, Reid Everett, Alyse Horan, Tessa-Wren Everett, Emma Everett, Lonni Martin and her 7 great grandchildren, Austin Doyle, Tristin Waggener, Tanner Doyle, Kamryn Doyle, Isabelle Kissel, Kaylee Waggener, Peyton Doyle, and Austin Horan.

Family will welcome friends at a viewing on Tuesday April 5, 2016, from 6-8 pm, at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. An additional viewing will be held from 9-10 am on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, with a Memorial Service immediately following at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 22747 Old Rolling Road, California, MD 20619. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
