Joseph Jerry "JB" Burch, 59, of Bushwood, Maryland died March 20, 2016 at Prince George's Medical Center as the result of a car accident. He was born January 8, 1957 in Leonardtown, MD to Richard Elmer Bowles and Mae Viola Burch Goldsmith.

Joseph was a longtime employee of Mitchell Supply Company in La Plata, Maryland and a current employee at Walmart in California, Maryland. He was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bushwood, MD. He was known as a hard worker. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Gloria Elizabeth Burch and her fiance, Kevin; his sisters, Peggy Weimer of Berlin, Pennsylvania and Mary Lou Barnwell and her husband Dewey of Bel Alton, Maryland; his half-brother, Joseph A. Wathen of Bowie, Maryland; his half-sister, Tammy Williams of Hollywood, Maryland; his grandchildren, Alexis, Ciara, and Delonte; and good friend, Connie Gray and her grandchildren, Brandon, Starr, and Bryce.

Friends received on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 8:30AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (Bushwood), 23080 Maddox Road, Bushwood, MD 20618. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601. Arrangements provided by Raymond Funeral Service.
