Raymond V. "Ray" "Dr. D" D'Arienzo, 69, of Owings, MD passed away March 16, 2016 in Brookesville, FL after a brief illness.

He is survived by his wife Melody, his daughter, Kara and her husband Steve and four grandchildren; Cali, Sydney, Jackson and Ryan. Brother of Harold (Frances), Marybeth Amico-Young (David), Edith Davitt and Rita Chopko (Frank). He is also survived by brother-in-law Albert Amico, Sr., numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved son Daniel in 2004.

Ray, known as Dr. "D" to his students was an educator and a school supervisor for more than 40 years in P.G. County and Calvert County. He was a gifted counselor, supervisor and vice principal, who had a deep devotion to his students, colleagues and friends.
