Conrad Lederer, (Babe) 100, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Charlotte Hall Veteran's Home, Charlotte Hall, MD. He was born to Elise and Charles Lederer on May 18, 1915 in Washington, DC.

Babe is survived by his sons, Bill (Rachael) Lederer of Baden, MD and John (Sheila) Lederer of Bremen, AL and his brother, Robert of San Francisco, CA. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Janet Bradley, Don (Dana) Lederer, Laura (Bobby) Wilson and John R. Lederer, Jr., and ten great-grandchildren, Colin Bradley, Lane Bradley, Brenden Bradley, Amanda Lederer, Kevin Lederer, Emily Lederer, Skylar Lederer, Hunter Marie Lederer and Elizabeth Wilson.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Irma Laura (Moore); brothers, Charles and Victor, his sister, Lois and great-grandson Dylan Wilson.

Babe graduated from Upper Marlboro High in 1933. During World War II, he was drafted into the U.S. Navy. He was very active in the Lions Club, coached Little League baseball, delivered Meals on Wheels and donated blood up until age 96, an accomplishment of which he was most proud. Babe was faithful to his God and his church. He enjoyed attending Blue Crab baseball games, bowling, playing Bingo and going out to dinner.

Family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering on March 30, 2016 at 10:00 am at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD. A Memorial Service will be held on March 30, 2016 at 11:00 am at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD. Interment will be at Maryland Veteran's Cemetery-Cheltenham, 11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Babe's name to: Charlotte Hall Veteran's Home, 29449 Charlotte Hall Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.
