Lillian B. Rice, 91, of White Plains, Maryland passed away March 1, 2016 in Washington, DC surrounded by her family. Mrs. Rice was born May 7, 1924 in Elkton, Virginia to the late Robert Eldon Meadows and Lila Bell Offenbacker Meadows. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Oren Rice; brothers Ira Meadows and Robert Meadows, Jr.; and sister, Eva Bain.

She was a wonderful, loving mother to her surviving children, Carol Monson (Ted), Susan Trobough, Linda Pitzer (Mike), Robert Rice (Debbie), Joan Buckner (Robbie), Ann Rader (Jimmy) and Steven Rice (Diamond); and grandchildren, Perry Patton, Amy Fraley, Michael Pitzer (Jennifer), Michele Windsor (Lee), Robert Rice, Jr. (Melissa), Tammy Rice, Elizabeth Kolbe (Daniel), Rebecca Buckner, Jamie Hayden (Chris), Kacie Rader (Justin), Nala Lewis. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.

Friends received on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 4-8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646 and where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 11AM.
