Daniel James Dempsey, 23, of Waldorf, MD died February 27, 2016 in Los Angeles, CA.

Growing up Daniel was a member of the Westlake Bulldogs football and wrestling programs, Waldorf American Little League, and the Waldorf Soccer Club. Daniel was a graduate of North Point High School where he wrestled, played lacrosse and was quarterback of the football team. Danny enjoyed sports, fishing, boating, and spending time with his nephew, family, and friends, including the Humpback Whale kids and his "One Love" boys.

Daniel is preceded in death by his grandparents James and Mary Jane Dempsey and cousin Robert Balint. Daniel is survived by his parents, John and Karen Dempsey, his sisters Brianne, Julia, and twin sister Amy, his nephew Marcus-Anthony "Trey" Mitchell III, his grandparents Robert and Sara Balint, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Family and friends to gather on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 5PM to 8PM with Wake Service at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A. 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.
