Virginia Lee Moxley, 88, North Beach, died on April 30, 2008 in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

She was a loving mother to son Charles S. Moxley, Jr. and his wife Pat of Dares Beach; daughters Marilyn C. Hereford and her husband, Bobby of New Smyrna Beach, FL; Muffin Moxley Goucher and her husband Tommy of North Beach, MD; and Julie A. Moxley and her husband Curt Carlson of Miami, FL. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was born in Washington DC to Samuel Z. and Marjory Phelps Tayman. She moved to Calvert County in 1971. She was a member of Huntingtown Methodist Church.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Charles Stuart Moxley who died in 2001.

A funeral service was held Thursday, May 8 at 10:00 AM at Huntingtown United Methodist Church with Reverend Dr. Patricia Sebring officiating followed by interment in Miranda Cemetery. Virginia's pallbearers were Matthew Hereford, John Goucher, Dan Goucher, Andrew Moxley, Kyle Moxley, and Cory Harwood.
