Lois Kendall Monn, age 82 of Waldorf, Maryland, formerly of Clinton, Maryland died on April 30, 2008 at her residence.

Born on December 4, 1925 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Daulton Noah Kendall and the late Ella Grace Gibbons Kendall. Mrs. Monn was a retired clerk with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and a member of New Life Church in La Plata, MD where she was very active. She loved to entertain and was known to be kind to others. She loved being around her family.

She is survived by her husband James E. "Buddy" Monn; two sons James D. (Lisa) Monn of Westminster, CA and Timothy K. (Debbi) Monn of Waldorf, MD; one sister Doris Edwards of Clinton, MD; grandchildren Christina, Melissa, Julie, Brandon, Christian and Kaitlin Monn; one grandson Dakota Monn; three nieces Dana Argiro, Dawn Edwards and Dale Dorr.

Visitation on Monday, May 5, 2008 from 6PM - 8PM at the Raymond Funeral Chapel in La Plata, MD and on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 from 10AM until time of service at the New Life Church in La Plata, MD with the Reverend Mike Hilson and Reverend Aaron Rummage officiating. Interment to follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Cheltenham, Maryland. Pallbearers: Son, James Monn, son Timothy Monn, grandson Brandon Monn, grandson Christian Monn, Nephew-in-law Vince Argiro and nephew Billy Smith.
