![]() James Thaddeus Proctor, 60, of Waldorf, Maryland. James Thaddeus Proctor also affectionately known to family and friends as "Cotton" at the age of 60, quietly entered into eternity at his mother's home in Fort Washington, Maryland on Monday, December 28, 2015. Thaddeus was born August 27, 1955 to the late James Leo Proctor and Anna Deloris Proctor. Thaddeus was educated in the Prince George's County School System.
In 1999, Thaddeus and Valerie Munson were united in Holy Matrimony. He became the step-father of three children that he cherish and loved as his own. Thaddeus joined the military in 1975. He later was employed by Allan Myers Company. Thaddeus worked various jobs, nothing was ever too much for him, you name it he did it. He was the true meaning of a handy man. Thaddeus was a strong man who cared for everyone. He had a great love for his family and friends. He was blessed with the gift of helping. He enjoyed life to the fullest. Thaddeus was a jokester, a story teller (most of them were made up, but you couldn't tell him anything different. They where all true to him). He enjoyed listening to oldies but goodies, going to Car Shows and hanging out with his grandkids, family and friends. Thaddeus was preceeded in death by his father, James Leo Proctor, nephews, David Dean, Michael Johnson, mother–in-law, Marie Munson and brother–in-law, Paul Munson. Left to cherish many memories are, his wife, Valerie, mother, Deloris Proctor, two sisters, Sharon and Cassandra, three step children, Nakisha, Michael and Ashley; six grandchildren, five aunts and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing, 9:00am until time of Service, 11:00am, Saturday, January 2, 2016 in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland.
