Mark Wayne Donaldson, 54, of La Plata, MD died December 12, 2015 at his residence. He was the son of the late John L. Donaldson, Sr. and the late Emma Jean Willett Donaldson. He is also predeceased by his sister, Tina Elizabeth Wilson.

He was an engineering technician for 27 years with NAVFAC (U.S. Government) and a member of Anchor Baptist Church in Faulkner, MD. He graduated from Lackey High School in 1979.

He enjoyed listening to music and playing the guitar. He also loved spending time with his family and making people laugh. He was a NASCAR fan and Dallas Cowboy fan and any team playing the Redskins. He was known as a handyman.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Joan Marcia Donaldson; his son, Zachary Edward Donaldson; his daughter, Lauren Mae Bonn and her husband Chuck; his brother, John L. Donaldson, Jr. and his wife Tina.

Friends received on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 6-8PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Funeral Service on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 11AM at Anchor Baptist Church in Faulkner, MD. Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
