On Wednesday, April 23, 2008, Harold L. Gray quietly departed this life for one eternal at his residence in Bel Alton, Maryland.

Harold was born on September 13, 1955 in Washington, D.C. to the late Harold L. Gray and Avis Laverne Gray. He was educated in Charles County Schools and worked as a Laborer in Construction.

Harold was a quiet man who enjoyed simple pleasures in life. He will be remembered most for his annual 4th of July cookouts with family and friends.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by brother, Kevin.

Left to cherish fond memories are his mother, Avis LaVerne Gray, sisters, Janice D. Gray, and Vernett P. Floyd (Gary D.), brothers, Darrell C. (Teri M.) Gary L. (Classica S.), Vernon E. (Deborah), Thomas A. (Ina P.), and Timothy A. (Robin M.) Gray. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Family received friends on Tuesday, April 29th at Thornton Funeral Home.
