Elizabeth "Boots" Warder, 94 of Indian Head, MD went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Sage Point Senior Center in La Plata, MD. She was born November 3, 1921 in Indian Head to the late Lillian V. and late John S. Dudley. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Harold C. Warder and her son John (Jack) Eck, Sr., her sister Margaret D. Knott, her brothers Elmer Lee (Snooks) Dudley and Johnny Dudley.

She is survived by her daughter Margaret (Peggy) Heise and son-in-law Richard (Ed) Heise, daughter-in-law Carol Ann Eck and step-daughter Janet Drinkard and her husband Charles, her grandchildren Stephanie Brooks (Kurt), Christine Carlson (Jeff), John Eck, Jr. (Bonnie), Leanne Guerro (Michael), and Ward Heise (Jennifer), great-grandchildren, Nicole Brooks, Scott Brooks, Jacob Elder, Jackson Heise, Kylie Guerrero, Nichalos Guerrero, Owen Guerrero, and Natalie Eck; step-grandchildren Mary Ann Vincell (Gene), Sherrie Kay Taylor (Rich), John Drinkard (Cherry), and Mark Drinkard (Melissa); and eight step-great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She also left nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Lackey High School Class of 1938 and worked as a secretary at the Naval Ordnance Station for 40 years where she met and married Harold Warder. They had many happy years together. She loved quilting and made one for each grandchild but was happiest when all of her family was together. She was an avid Washington Nationals fan. She was a very strong Christian and started a weekly Bible Study at Sage Point Gardens.

Viewing on Monday, November 23, 2015 from 6-8PM and on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 10AM until the Celebration of Life at 11AM at Marbury Baptist Church, 4670 Bicknell Road, Marbury, MD 20658. Interment immediately following at Trinity Memorial Gardens.

Her Pallbearers are grandsons and grandsons-in-law Ward Heise, Jacob Elder, Michael Guerrero, John Eck, Jr., Kurt Brooks, and Jeff Carlson.
