Anita (Batoon) Padua, 82 of Newburg, MD passed away on October 26, 2015 at her home.

Anita was born in the Philippines on October 23, 1933 to the late Pedro and Luisa Batoon. Anita is also predeceased by her husband, Leon Padua. She survived by her son, Noel B. Padua and his wife, Virginia; and grandchildren, Virgil and Noah Padua.

The Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 12:45 PM at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, 211 St. Mary's Ave., La Plata, MD. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Ave., La Plata, MD. Father Gregory Coan will officiate. A private Interment will be held at a later date.
