Ronald Stephen Fisher, 74, Waldorf, Maryland passed away Friday October 2, 2015 at the University Of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. Ron was the son of the late Charles and Louise Fisher. He was also predeceased by his siblings Charles, Jr., Joyce and Robert.

He is survived by his beloved wife Margaret; his son and best pal Dan; grandchildren and playmates Erica and Patrick; and great-grandson Dylan. Other relatives include nieces and nephews; Steve Fisher, John Bastin, Robert Fisher, Jr., Julie Fisher, Pete Fisher and Tina Whittington; and all residing coast to coast. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Ron was born and raised in Washington D.C. and had resided in Waldorf, Maryland since 1976. After attending Chamberlain High School, Ron apprenticed as a Typewriter Technician at the Royal Typewriter Co. This was the beginning of a forty plus year career in the office machine repair business that ended in 2006.
He was a Mason and belonged to the La Fayette- Dupont Lodge No. 19 in Washington D.C.

Ron enjoyed the fall and winter holiday season, fishing, visiting the Outer Banks, and the Washington Redskins. In later years he became an avid reader. He enjoyed listening to music of all kinda. However, he was a fan of bluegrass music in particular. In recent times he relished quiet time spent with his wife, Margaret. Nothing brought him more smiles then being Granddaddy and partner in mischief with Erica and Patrick.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Huntt Funeral Home 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland on Saturday October 10, 2015 from 10:30am to 11:30am where the memorial service will begin at 11:30am. Arrangements provided by Hunt Funeral Home.
