Charles Henry Deagle, "Charlie & Pop", 86, of Tall Timbers, MD passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 2, 2015 at his home. Born on July 15, 1929 in St. George Island, MD he was the son of the late Mary Vivian Deagle and William Henry Deagle.

Charlie was the loving husband of Mary Victoria Deagle, whom he married on June 11, 1952 in Compton, MD.

Charlie is survived by his children: Charles Henry Deagle, Jr., (Pam) of Tall Timbers, MD, Tommy Deagle of Tall Timbers, MD, Darlene McCoy (Rich) of Leonardtown, MD, 2 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his brother William T. Deagle.

He was a lifelong St. Mary's County, MD resident and graduated from Great Mills High School in 1946. Charlie worked as a waterman, and served 8 years in the National Guard. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Honorary lifetime member of Sanner's Lake Sportsman Club, he also enjoyed; hunting and fishing.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 6:00 PM -7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM with Arthur Pilkerton officiating. Interment will be private. Arrangements provided by Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home.
