William Russell Riley, Sr., of Hollywood, MD, formerly of Lothian, MD died at his home on Saturday, October 3, 2015. He was 86 years old. Born on November 30, 1928 in Annapolis, MD, he was the son of the late Ruth Elizabeth Johnson and the late William Ramsey Riley.

Mr. Riley served in the U. S. Army before being Honorably Discharged. He was a farmer and of the Episcopalian faith.

He is survived by his wife Irene A. Riley; his children Carol Riley of Hollywood, MD, William R. Riley Jr. and his wife Rita of La Plata, MD; his siblings Ruth J. Tippett and Joseph R. Riley, both of Deale, MD; his grandchildren Rick Gray, Sarah Ruest and her husband Scott, Rebecca Legge and her husband Michael; his great grandchildren Natalie, Bethany, Cassidy, Brianna and Piper.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 4PM to 8PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646 where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 beginning at 10AM. Interment to follow at Southern Memorial Gardens in Dunkirk, MD.
