Ms Toye was educated in the Charles County School system and worked as a secretary for the Department of Defense for ten years. She was affiliated at an early age with Shiloh Community United Methodist Church.

Daughter of the late Thomas P. Jupiter and the late Ruby L. Dorsey.

Predeceased by her parents; brother Thomas P. Dorsey; sister Patricia F. Jupiter; nephew Thomas A. Savoy.

Survived by her son Raymond Purnell Chisley Jr.; husband Charles Toye; lifetime partner David A. Yates; brothers James Chase, Lloyd, Wayne, Angelo Jupiter; sisters Cleo Comer, Cherette Jupiter; aunt Elnora Chase; cousins Evelyn Roberson and Ethel Scott; grandchildren Alexis, Adrian and Alyssa Chisley; her special nephew Jaquile (Squeaky)D. Marshall; special friend Clara Chapman; a host of nephews, nieces and loved ones.

Visitation on Friday, April 25, 2008 from 10AM to 11AM at Shiloh Community United Methodist Church in Newburg, MD.

Funeral Service on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 11 am at Shiloh Community United Methodist Church. Interment in the church cemetery. Clergy wil be Rev Marvin Wumble. Pallbearers will be Paul Chapman, Jermaine Daycher, Mike Crawford, Nevada and Kevin Brown.
