Robert Earl Redfern, 78, of St. Leonard, MD, passed away on April 21, 2008 at Southern Maryland Hospital Center.

Born July 29, 1929 in Blackburn, Arkansas to the late Moses Shelton and Elizabeth Centers Redfern.

Beloved husband of Kay Redfern, of St. Leonard, MD, and father of Robert Earl Redfern, Jr. of Riverdale, MD, John Shelton Redfern, of Severn, MD, Judy Ann DeSavage and her husband Kenneth of Bowie, Md, and David Wayne Redfern and his wife Joelma of Laurel, MD. Grandfather of Christina Leigh DonBullian, David Wayne Redfern, Jr., Sara Ann DeSavage, Melissa Lynn DeSavage, Nicholas Kevin Redfern and Gabriella Erica Redfern, he is also survived by his sister Jessie Fennell of Greenland Arkansas.
