Leslie Daggette Williams, 63 of Waldorf, MD died on September 8, 2015 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD. He was born on February 10, 1952 in Clearfield, PA to the late Harold Eldon and Dixie Jane Davis Williams.
Leslie served in the United States Marine Corp from 1968-1972 during the Vietnam War as a helicopter mechanic. After returning from Vietnam he was an auto mechanic. He worked as a stationary engineer for Johnson Brothers and Wackenhut Service, Inc in Washington DC. He was a member of Union 100E 99 where he worked as a heating and air conditioning technician. He could read blue prints front to back. He was a fix-it person who loved to work on computers in his free time. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by one sister, Linda Alice Evans. He is survived by one son, Leslie Harold Williams; one daughter, Christine Shiflett-Mitchell; and one sister Susan Ann Williams. Memorial contributions are requested to Alzheimer's Association National Capital Area Chapter, 307 Pender Drive, Suite 400, Fairfax, VA 22030.
