Melvin Saverio Cafardi, 68, of White Plains, MD passed peacefully in his home on Thursday, September 10, 2015. Born May 29, 1947 in Washington D.C, he was the son of the late Saverio and Annie Cafardi. Melvin had resided in White Plains for 36 years and worked as a computer analyst for Computer Sciences Corporation.

Predeceased by his wife Jean Marie Stone Cafardi and sister, Barabara Jean Daughenbaugh. He is survived by his daughter Kim C. Bowes of Centerville, VA, sister, Carol Cafardi Davis (Arthur), and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for Melvin's Life Celebration on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 10:00– 11:00a.m. with a service at 11:00a.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.
