Barbara Helena Nafe Conron, 60, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015 in Leonardtown, MD. She was born June 19, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Charles Nafe and the late Helen Drissel Nafe.

Barbara earned her Bachelor's Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She was a music teacher at St. Peter's School in Waldorf, MD. and was the organist at St. Francis De Sales Church, Benedict, MD from 1997 to 2004.

She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Helen Nafe, and her son Sean Conron. She is survived by her daughter, Colleen M. Conron; mother-in-law, Mary Conron; brothers-in-law, John Michael "Uncle Mike" Conron, Patrick Conron, Brian Conron and Bill Whelan; sisters-in-law, Kathy Conron, Katherine Conron, Maria Conron and Kate Whelan.

Family will receive friends for Barbara's Memorial Mass on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 10:30 am at St. Francis De Sales Church, 7185 Benedict Avenue, Benedict, MD 20612. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, 38888 Dr. Johnson Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659. Arrangements provided by Brinsfield Echols Funeral Home.
