Michael Loren Seward, of Charlotte Hall, Maryland, formerly of Fort Washington, MD, died on Tuesday, August 26, 2015 at his residence. He was 52 years old. Born on December 15, 1962 he was the son of Patricia L. and the late John M. Seward.

Michael served in the U. S. Coast Guard for many years until he was Honorably Discharged in 1995. He then worked as a mechanic at various shops, including Clinton Cycle. Michael was a fun-loving out-going person who enjoyed motorcycles, rock climbing, water skiing, boating and any adventure that would get him outdoors. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Clinton, MD.

In addition to his mother, Patricia, he is survived by his sister Debra Lynn Green and her husband Theodore Edward Green; his brother Douglas Russell Seward and his wife Gretchen Seward; his nieces Catherine, Merridith, Abigail and Morgan; his nephews Theodore "T.J." and Benjamin; many other relatives and friends.

Service and interment will be held at 1PM on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD. Arrangements provided by Raymond Funeral Service.
