Joseph Peter "Joe" Anthony, Jr., 73 of Solomons, MD passed away on August 17, 2015 in Baltimore, MD. Born December 27, 1941 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Joseph Peter Anthony, Sr. and Kathryn L. (Tanis) Anthony.

Joe graduated from Archbishop Carroll High School in 1959. He received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Joe married to Susan N. Lillie on May 27, 1967 in Adelphi, MD. He was an Agricultural Economist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture for thirty one years, retiring in 1997.

Joe is survived by his wife, Susan N. Anthony; his children, Elizabeth Anthony (Roland Engel) of Washington, DC and Leah Geiger of California, MD; three grandchildren; and brother, Bruce Richard Anthony of Severna Park, MD.
