Benjamin Carl Hall, Sr., 81, of Callaway, Maryland died Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at his residence. He was born on February 9, 1934 in Clements, MD to the late James Henry Sr. and Catherine Hazel Quade Hall.

Carl married his long time love, Mary Agnes Combs Hall. Together, they have celebrated many wonderful years of marriage. He was lifetime farmer, which he loved. He enjoyed playing cards and horseshoes. He was selfless and always took care of his family, which was his greatest love.

In addition to his beloved wife, Carl is also survived by his children, Mary E. Owens of Indian Head, MD; Agnes Unkle of Callaway, MD; Joyce A. Bean of Valley Lee, MD; Catherine K. Hall of Great Mills, MD; Benjamin C. Hall, Jr. of Callaway, MD; William J. Hall of Park Hall, MD; Susan J. Cantrell of Ridge, MD; Robert L. Hall of Lexington Park, MD; Joseph A. Hall of Callaway, MD; and Edith Quade of Avenue, MD. Carl is survived by his siblings, James Henry Hall, Jr. of Park Hall, MD; Dorothy Stone of Leonardtown, MD; Thomas Hall of Compton, MD; Catherine B. Molnar of Hollywood, MD; Joseph Hall of Clements; George Hall of Loveville, MD; John Hall of Avenue, MD. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Laura Stone and brother, Sylvester Hall.

The family will receive friends for Carl's Life Celebration on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 4:00 p.m. at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Rd., Leonardtown, MD 20650.
