Nellie Viola Dade, 85, La Plata, MD passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, La Plata, MD. Nellie was born in Wicomico, MD on September 30, 1929 to the late Joseph S. Dade and the late Nettie D. Dade.

Nellie is also predeceased by her brothers, James, Joseph, Arthur, Clayton, John and Edward; and sisters, Florine, Mary, Eva, Mabel and Kate. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Baker and a host of other family members who will miss her dearly.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at St. Mary's Newport, 11555 St. Mary's Church Road, Charlotte Hall, MD from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM with a Funeral Service beginning at 10:00 AM; Father Mark Ervin to officiate. Arrangements provided by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home.
