Frances Jean Morgan, 85, of Drayden, MD passed away on July 30, 2015 in Lexington Park, MD. Born on July 31, 1929 in Drayden, MD, she was the daughter of the late Mary Caryline Thompson Armstrong and Alexander Armstrong.

Frances was the loving wife of the late Charles Morgan, whom preceded her in death on April 18, 1995, and who she married in St. George Catholic Church in Valley Lee, MD on March 6, 1949.

Frances is survived by her grandson: Byron Morgan (Tracy) of Waldorf, MD, great grandson; Byron Morgan, II and Malcolm Morgan, and great great grandchildren; Kaleb Morgan, and Addison Morgan. She was preceded in death by her son George Morgan, siblings: Florence Armstrong, Denver Armstrong, Annie Armstrong, and Joseph Armstrong.

Frances was a lifelong St. Mary's County, MD resident, and worked as a cook for Little Flower School for 30 years. Grandma was committed and dedicated member of St. George Catholic church. Her hobbies included: cooking for her church, family, and friends, and the stray cats that visited her home and would never leave because of her good cooking.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in St. George Catholic Church, Valley Lee, MD; A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM with Father Paul Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Byron Morgan,II, Malcolm Morgan, Kirk Morgan, Bruce Morgan, Ramsey Morgan, and Bernard Barnes.
