Donna Lynn Robey 43, of Chesapeake Beach, formerly of Leesburg, FL, went to be with the Lord on April 14, 2008 at Georgetown University Hospital.

Donna was born on October 10, 1964 in Washington DC. She attended public schools and worked as a waitress and bartender before becoming a homemaker.

Donna loved spending time with her entire family. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially gardening, fishing, and riding 4x4s. Donna was a skilled woodworker and craftswoman. She loved to cook, sew, crochet and watch movies. She was heartbroken to leave her beloved dog Butch in Florida when she moved back home recently.

She was the beloved daughter of Larry Lee and Jane Robey Sr. of Chesapeake Beach. Donna was the devoted sister of Carol Ann Robey Grierson (Edward) of Deale; Joseph Daniel Smith (Dawn); Larry Lee Robey, Jr.; and Wendy Renee Robey all of Chesapeake Beach. She is also survived by her grandmother Anna Elizabeth Kimble of Waldorf and her nieces and nephews Lacey, Michael, Jeffrey, Eric, Lindsay, Josh, Megan, Lailah, and Mark as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation was held at Rausch Funeral Home in Owings on Thursday. A funeral service was officiated by the Reverend Gary Fruik on Friday and burial took place at Southern Memorial Gardens in Dunkirk.
