Peacefully on Monday, July 27, 2015 of Waldorf, MD Elsie went home to be with the Lord.

Beloved mother of Marvell (James) Parker, Burndell McNeal, Doris Spriggs, Paul (Hattie) Chapman and Colbert Chapman and the late John, Mabel and James P. Chapman. Elsie also leaves a special daughter, Patricia Powell; daughter-in-law Amanda Chapman; sister-in-law, Ella Colbert; niece, Helen Chambers and a host of grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many cousins and friends who will dearly miss her.

Visitation on Friday, July 31 from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church, 14908 Main Street, Upper Marlboro, MD. Interment Resurrection. Arrangements provided by Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, P.A.
