![]() Dorothy Williams, 72, of White Plains, died on October 14, 2006 at home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born February 16, 1934 in Van Meter, PA, Westmoreland County. She was the youngest child of the late Metro and the late Anna Feddock of Van Meter, PA. She relocated to Charles County in 1958.
She was a member of La Plata United Methodist Church. Mrs. Williams worked for Kroll Petroleum of Clinton, Southern Maryland Oil, Metro Drugs of La Plata, Mitchell Supply of La Plata, and Spring Dell Center of La Plata, finally retiring in 1992 to be a full time homemaker. She enjoyed reading, old movies, eating ice cream, collecting dolls and antiques, going to yard sales, gardening, and dancing - especially the Polka. She cherished her family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Feddock, sisters, Ann Martinack and Mary Clark. She is survived by her husband, Walter Williams Sr of White Plains; children, Sharon Morgan of Welcome, Walter Williams II and his wife, Jill, of La Plata, and Mark Williams and his wife Kelly, of White Plains; sisters, Helen Margoneri and her husband Joe of West Newton, PA, Ruth Furno of Port Royal, PA; grandchildren, Matt Morgan and his wife Kathy of Hughesville, John Williams and his wife Megan of Fort Eustis, VA, Stephanie Williams of White Plains, Mark Williams Jr of Fort Eustis, VA, and Ryan Williams of La Plata; great grandchildren, Tyler Morgan, Alyssa Simmons, Isabella Williams, and Sarah Morgan; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
