Mrs. Taylor was a first grade teacher for forty two years with the Charles County Board of Education, beginning her career at Indian Head Elementary and retiring from J.C. Parks Elementary. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of St. Charles, Red Hat Society, the 2 N 1 Club at Clark Senior Center, the VFW Ladies Aux. at Morningside Post # 9619, and the Eastern Star.

Daughter of the late LeRoy Sellers and the late Modie Carpenter Sellers.

Predeceased by her parents and husband.

Survived by her three daughters, Dianna (Henry) Tynford of Ontario, Canada, Jacqueline (Steve) Brown of Herndon, Va., and Sandra K. (Gene) Taylor of La Plata, Md., special companion, Robert I. Wood of Prince Frederick, Md. Also survived by thirteen grandchildren, Jason and Mary Clifton, Timothy Clifton, Taylor Pressey and fiancé Jacquie Fier, Matthew and Amanda Pressey, Teo Brown and fiancé Kate Rosenbery, Carrie Brown, Leanne Lakes, Christopher and Evelina Tyndorf, Mark and Maggie Tyndorf, Teresa Tyndorf, Juliana Tyndorf, Shane Webb, and Shannon Webb, and three great-grandchildren, Emily and Jacob Clifton, Lucas Pressey, and Tommy and Josie Tyndorf.

Visitation on Monday, April 14, 2008 from 5-8pm at First Baptist Church of St. Charles, 136 Stoddert Avenue, Waldorf, MD 20602.

Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 11am at First Baptist Church of St. Charles. Clergy will be Rev. Fred Caudle. Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD. Pallbearers will be her Grandsons.
