James "Jim" Anthony Bostwick, 68, of Hollywood, MD passed away on June 28, 2015 in Washington, DC. Born on June 26, 1947 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Mary Bostwick and Clarence Bostwick.

Jim was the loving husband of the late Patricia Bostwick, and who preceded him in death on November 24, 2004. Jim is survived by his children: Julie White (Edward White, Sr.) of Leonardtown, MD, Jamie Harrison (Robert) of Mechanicsville, MD, Angel Knarr of Salisbury, MD, Gene Bostwick of Hughesville, MD, and 7 grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Cindy Smith and loving companion Bernadette Warren.

Jim graduated from the University of Maryland and moved to St. Mary's County, MD in 1977. Jim worked as a Lieutenant for Prince George's County Sheriff's Office for 34 years retiring in 2003.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Ammon Ripple officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
