Eden (Edie) Elizabeth Elrod, 42, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on June 27, 2015 in Charlotte Hall, MD. Born August 3, 1972 in Washington, D.C. Edie was the daughter of James Glenn Elrod, Jr. and the late Carolyn Ester (Reynolds) Elrod.

Edie loved working with computers and solving problems. She loved spending the holidays with her children and family, watching movies, eating crabs, and playing with her dog.

Edie was preceded in death by her mother Carolyn, Grandfather Dean Reynolds, Grandmother Dorothy Elrod and Grandfather James G. Elrod, Sr. Edie is survived by her sons, Dylan Abell and Nicholas Teel; father, James Glenn Elrod, Jr., Grandmother, Marge Reynolds and brother, J.D. (Cindy).

The family will receive friends for Edie's Memorial Gathering on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 6-8 pm with a Memorial Service at 7pm at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.
