Mr DeOca was an insurance investigator for 40 years with Equifax Co. In northern Virginia. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving from 1964-1967 as a Sgt. He was a referee with U.S. Soccer Federation, LPYSA soccer coach and BBSL soccer coach.

Son of the late Jose and the late Rosa Zepeda.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Mark DeOca.

Survived by his one son, Paul D. (Angela) DeOca of Port Tobacco, Md. , two brothers, Lionel "Zip" and Joseph Zepeda, two sisters, Heidi Chiesa and Edith Casey. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Kayla and Brett DeOca.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008 from 5-8pm with prayers at 7pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, Md.

Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 12, 2008 2pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Plata, Md.

Father Ron Potts will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Mike Sammons, Eric Sammons, Keith Basiliko, Greg Basiliko, Timmie McKimmie, and Jason Sammons.

Honorary Pallbearers will be U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.

Interment at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, Md. On Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 1pm.
