William Paul Mudd, age 82 of Waldorf, MD died May 29, 2015 at Southern MD Hospital Center in Clinton, MD.

William was a propellant maker with the Naval Ordnance Station in Indian Head, MD for 43 years and a life-time member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD. He loved being at his family home with his wife and kids, was known as a very loving and giving person, and a true Christian. He was an avid Redskin fan and Wheel of Fortune fan and loved his beagle dogs.

He is the son of the late Francis Raymond Mudd and the late Eugenia Brent Mudd. He is also predeceased by his wife, Diane Mudd and his sister, Amelia Mudd. He is survived by his son, Michael Mudd; his daughter, Edyie McGann and husband Michael; his brother, Gwynn Mudd and wife Theresa; and his grandson, Justin Norvell.

Friends received on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 5-8PM with Wake Service at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 3320 St. Peter's Drive, Waldorf, MD 20601. Interment in the church cemetery.
