Lester Allen Hayden, 67, died on Saturday May 16, 2015 at his residence in Waldorf, MD after a lengthy battled with chronic leukemia. Born in Marion, VA he was the son of the late James Harvey Hayden, Sr. and Gracie Irene Cook Hayden.

Lester worked at Hunt Form in La Plata, MD. He loved sports, the Virginia Cavaliers, college basketball, baseball, the Redskins, fishing, yardwork, sitting on the porch watching thunderstorms. Lester loved his wife Nancy.

He is survived by sons, James A. Hayden (Heather Johnson, Fiancé), Lester Allen Hayden, Jr. (Carolyn), step-children, Gary Roper (Lisa Surniak), Jeff Roper (Karen), Greg Roper (Pam); brothers, James Harvey Hayden, Jr. (Lois), William Roy Hayden; sister, Patsy Mason (Carl), 13 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
