Jesse Robert Hutsell, 77, of California, MD died in his home on May 13, 2015. He was born in Indiana to the late Cecil Cameron and Ethel Marie Arnold Hutzel.

He served in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1979 as a logistics specialist and then worked as a supply specialist for an electronics company.

He and his family lived in New Zealand and Colorado before moving to the Southern Maryalnd area in 1986. Jesse enjoyed fishing, woodworking and "tinkering" with his computer. He was a self taught programmer whose designs are still in use at former places of employment.

Jesse is survived by his sons, Mark Hutsell and his wife, Pam, of Klamouth Falls, Oregon and James "Jim" Hutzsell and his wife, Paula, of California, MD; three sisters, Jean Cromwell of Putnamville, Indiana, Pricilla Varvell of Indianapolis, Indiana and Shirley Hutsell, also of Indiana; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. His wife of almost 50 years, Maralyn, predeceased him.

A private interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements provided by Raymond Wood Funeral Home.
