Betty Jane Bowen, 77, of Prince Frederick, MD. passed away on April 3, 2008 in Prince Frederick, MD.

Born November 20, 1930 in Calvert County, MD to the late Irving and Frances Hutchins Bowen. She is predeceased by a sister Daisy Sherbert and a brother John I. Bowen.

Beloved wife of Raymond D. Bowen, mother of Raymond L. Bowen, Larry I. Bowen, and David F. Bowen. Grandmother of Jason, Travis, Matthew, Joshua, Preston, and Justin Bowen, she is also survived by her sisters Margaret Ogden, Frances Rausch and a brother Allen H. Bowen.

The family received friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD. on Monday April 7, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. where services were held on Tuesday April 8, 2008 at 11 A.M. Interment followed in Asbury Cemetery, Barstow, MD.
