Katie Lynn Neal of La Plata, Maryland, died on Monday, March 30, 2015 at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton, MD. She was 28 years old. Born on January 26, 1987 in La Plata, Maryland, she was the daughter of Bonnie Sue Hamor Neal and the late William Michael Neal.

She was certified in CPR and home maker courses. Katie was of the Baptist faith and attended Nanjemoy Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Hoyt Herman Hamor Sr. and her paternal grandfather, Robert Lee Neal.

In addition to her mother, Katie is also survived by her son, William Patrick Neal, who has been under the care of Aunt Becci Davis; her paternal grandmother Alice Lee Neal; her maternal grandmother Helen Louise Hamor; also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Visitation on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 9AM until time of service beginning at 11AM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A. 5635 Washington Avenue La Plata, Maryland 20646 with James Cunningham officiating. Interment to follow at Nanjemoy Baptist Church Cemetery in Nanjemoy, MD.
