Jane Frances Furbush of La Plata, Maryland died on Monday, March 31, 2008 at the Charles County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in La Plata, Maryland. She was 85 years old.

She was born on December 28, 1922 in Washington, DC to the late Louise and Anthony Chirieleison.

Jane, a long-time resident of La Plata, was a homemaker and mom. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Ladies Sodality. She also frequented the Richard Clark Senior Center where she sang with the "Silver Tones." In addition to singing, Jane enjoyed dancing, painting, being with her family, and watching the "I Love Lucy Show" of which she was an avid fan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Chirielsison and her former husband William A. Furbush.

She is survived by her children John A. & his wife Maribeth Furbush of Rock Point, MD, Michael & his wife Mayiyi Furbush of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mary Louise and her husband Walter Sanders of Port Tobacco, MD, Karl and his wife Becky Furbush of La Plata, MD, Steven and his wife Ruthie Furbush of La Plata, MD; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 5PM to 8PM with Prayers at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue La Plata, MD.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church 201 St. Mary's Avenue La Plata, MD at 10:30AM. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be her four sons, John, Mike, Karl and Steve, son-in-law Walter and grandson Tony.
