Michael Roland Sack, Sr., of Waldorf, Maryland died on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD. He was 57 years old. Born on October 23, 1957 in Lower Bucks County, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Marylan Ann Hale Sack and the late William Albert Sack Sr. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sack was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Sack.

Mr. Sack lived in Brevard, North Carolina where he was a member of the Jaycees and involved with EMS while working at the local hospital. He did a 8 foot by 10 foot latch hook of the Last Supper, which currently is displayed in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brevard. He then lived in Canyon, Texas where he was a member of the Newman Club. Mr. Sack was also a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Charles County Amateur Radio Club. He was active with the American Red Cross as a member of the Disaster Relief Team and a CPR instructor.

Mr. Sack was also involved in Scouting and held many positions in the Cub Scouts program. He also competed in various air rifle competitions. Mr. Sack was an avid Star Trek fan who enjoyed traveling in the RV, especially to Safari excursions to see lions and tigers, building Lego sets and model train sets. He especially loved his two service dogs, Gibson (retired) and Heidi VII. Mr. Sack was of the Catholic faith and attended Our Lady at Medley's Neck Catholic Church and Ascension Catholic Church in Bowie.

He is survived by his wife Michelle M. Sack; his sons Michael Roland Sack Jr. and Scott James Riley; his two twin grandsons Kasch Robert Watson and Wyatt John Watson; his sister Debra Smith; his brothers William Sack Jr., Richard Sack and Timothy Sack; his Goddaughter Lily Ann Wallace; his Godson David Ellis Davee.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 10AM until time of Mass to begin at 11AM at Our Lady at Medley's Neck Catholic Church, 41410 Medley's Neck Road Leonardtown, MD 20650 with Father Lawrence Young officiating.

Interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements provided by Raymond Funeral Service.
