Bill Bryner died suddenly and peacefully on March 9, 2015, with Fran by him.

He was born in Washington DC, in the Brookland neighborhood, on December 21, 1939, the only child of Winifred Albrittain Bryner of La Plata, MD, and Bert Wilson Bryner, of Punxsutawney, PA.

Bill graduated from Charlotte Hall Military High School in 1958 and married Frances Sessa Bryner on December 7, 1963. They have five children and five grandchildren. Bill was so life-filled and love-filled. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was kind and generous to everyone. He was also amazingly artistic. Bill retired from AT&T after working as an engineer for 28 years.

His favorite place on earth was his home in St. Charles with his wife. His second favorite place was Ocean City, NJ where he enjoyed the ocean with his family and extended family. Bill and Fran loved flying to Reno, NV, to visit Fran's sister Mary Anne (deceased in 2014) and her brother Michael. Bill and Fran were founding members of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Charles with Fr. Peter Alliata and the founding community of this Catholic Church.

Bill was a member of the Charles County Business Alliance in connection with his framing business. He also loved collecting postcards, restoring antiques and antique artwork, and reading books, especially history books. He was a voracious reader. His grandchildren were his special joy: Jonathan, Joey, Janie Lyn Bryner, and Emmett and little Oliver Clark.

In addition to his grandkids, Bill leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Frances; his son, John William Bryner and his wife, Julie Lyn); his daughters, Theresa Marie, Anita Lynn, Jeanna Rose and her husband Evan Clark, and Michelle Frances; his in-laws, John, Michael, Joe, and Gerry Sessa; his cousins, Harold Sterling and George (Sonny) Albrittain; his extended family members in the U.S. and Italy; and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Winifred and Bert, his sisters-in-law, Mary Anne Sessa Murry and Patty Sessa.

Friends received on Friday, March 13, 2015, from 4-6PM with Wake Service at 5PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Alain Colliou, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 100 Village Street, Waldorf, MD 20602, beginning with a gathering and sharing on Saturday, March 14, at 10:00 a.m., Eulogy at 10:50 a.m., and Mass at 11:00 a.m. The luncheon repast will be enjoyed at Noon in the Church hall.

Donations may be sent in place of flowers to one of Bill's many charities: St. Labre India School, Montana, and Little Sisters of the Poor, Harewood Road, Washington D.C. Arrangements provided by Raymond Funeral Service.
