Claudette Beall Swanson, 72, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away peacefully January 19, 2015 at her residence. Born September 5, 1942 in Washington, DC. She was the daughter of the late Ronald Sprigg Beall and the late Claudia Grayson McWilliams Beall.

Claudette took great pleasure in Monday morning bible study. She worked as a medical assistant with Dr. Michael Hotchkiss OB/GYN. Claudette enjoyed spending time with family & friends.

Claudette is survived by her loving husband, Donald Swanson Jr., her daughters, Donna Kay Swanson Herbert of Hughesville, MD, Karen Marie Swanson Ferguson of Raleigh, North Carolina, son, Donald Roland Swanson of Mechanicsville, MD, brother, Roland Wayne Beall of Deale, MD, grandchildren, Rebecca Helen Swanson Pitcher, Charles Webster Herbert IV, Emily Grace Herbert, Michael Duncan Ferguson, great-grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Pitcher, Haley Marie Pitcher, Brian Kenneth Pitcher, Jr. and Ava June Herbert.

Pallbearers will be: Brian Pitcher, Kevin Gardiner, Joe Hall, John Pearson, Bill Orrence, and Kyle Gardiner
Honorary Pallbearer: Wayne Beall

The family will receive friends for Claudette's Life Celebration on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. with Prayers at 7:00p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Ann Strickler officiating at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 27108 Mt. Zion Church Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659.
