Robert "Bob" Lee Grant, 80, of Waldorf, MD died on December 27, 2014 at his residence with Hospice.

Bob was a retired Navy Chief and was of the Baptist faith. He had an AA Degree from Pensacola Jr. College. He loved horseshoes, skeet shooting, bowling, reading, watching western shows, coin collecting, and lawn care. He most enjoyed being with his family.

He is the son of the late David Ralph Grant and the late Evelyn Strunk Grant. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Catherine H. Grant; his daughters, Denise Atwood and her husband Gary and Darlene Madsen and her husband Roy; his sisters, Nancy Kuhn and Judy Wilmot, and his grandchildren, Erik Madsen, Theresa Bowen and her husband Steve Hatch, Timothy Lloyd, Taryn Lloyd, Dane Madsen and Spenser Madsen; and his great-granddaughter, Quinn Harper Hatch.

Friends received on Saturday, January 3, 2014 from 10AM until time of Funeral Service at 12PM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Pallbearers will be his brother-in-laws and grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers will be the United States Navy Honor Guard. Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
