James Patrick Kennedy, 35, of La Plata, MD died on December 8, 2014.

He was born on July 24, 1979 in La Plata, MD to Patricia Kennedy and the late James Joseph Kennedy. He is also survived by his son James Joseph Kennedy, brother Sean Joseph Kennedy, sister April Nicole Kennedy, Grandmother Hazel "Meemaw" L. Clark, niece Rylee Sophia Kennedy and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

James graduated from Gwynn Park High School and was an installer for Solar City. He loved the Redskins and all the home town sports teams and spending time with his family.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 9:30 am until Mass time at 10:30 am at the St. Ignatius Chapel Pt. Church. Interment to follow in the St. Joseph's Church Cemetery Pomfret, MD. Arrangements provided by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home.
