Elizabeth Jane Norris, 88, of Mechanicsville, MD, formerly of Chesapeake Beach, MD passed on Monday, December 1, 2014 at St. Mary's Nursing Center in Leonardtown, MD. Elizabeth was born in Washington, DC on February 14, 1926 to the late James Joseph Fitzpatrick and the late Margaret M. Kelly Fitzpatrick.

Elizabeth worked as a bank teller at Suburban Trust until her retirement in 1987.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by one brother and four sisters. She is survived by her son, Jim Norris (Vicky), brother, James Joseph Fitzpatrick, grandchildren, James, Matthew and Timothy Norris , great grandchildren, Delaney, Aubrey, Sutton and Vincent.

Family will receive friends for Elizabeth's Life Celebration Viewing on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 5-8pm at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Service will be at 7 pm with Deacon Bill Kyte officiating.
